Maui police have located a Washington woman who was reported missing by her family last week.

At about 7:26 a.m. Saturday, Lahaina patrol officers made contact with 30-year-old Sarah Connelly, who declined further assistance, according to the Maui Police Department.

Connelly was reported missing on Tuesday evening by her family, who hadn’t heard from her since July 21. She had been scheduled to depart for California on July 19 but decided to extend her stay on Maui, police said.
